Interesting thoughts are had.  Really should begin writing them down.

Questions

Vent. Some improvement. Like to read more than I like to write. Will turn things around.  What to squeeze in and what to put aside.  How to value the work to be done.  Questions to ponder.

A start

Posts of fiction and non-fiction to get my days going.

The words flow so smoothly in my head.  When time comes to get those same thoughts in writing I end up with a choppy mess.  Maybe that's how my thoughts are really flowing and I just don't recognize the start and go of the process.  I've heard that people who are challenged mentally or have stress in their lives should journal just to get it out.

Where to start?  I guess top of mind for me now is giving and of course aging, health and money.  Mainly though giving as a balance to all the selfishness and self preservation that comes with being human.  Giving, not because I am exceptionally generous or have that much to give monetarily but because recently I have had people give to me.  They recognized a difficult situation, made a decision to help and then stepped in with their time and money to make a difference.  It meant having enough food and the essentials until things improved for me financially.

Out of that came my opportunity to pay it forward.  Their generosity moved me so much that the small gift I was able to make to our local food bank was the best gift that I have ever been able to make.  Without question, the best ever.  It felt great to be making a difference in the life of someone in need.  It is not like I haven't given before.  As part of a United Way campaign when I started my first job, we signed up to have payroll deductions made each pay period.  It wasn't much, it wasn't missed and went to a good cause.  It was the right thing to do.

Other opportunities to give presented themselves as well.  I found Giving Tuesday
